Country Presentsについて

Each year, the RSNA Annual Meeting features programming that highlights a specific country’s contributions to RSNA and the radiology community. These programs are identified and promoted as “Country Presents” and have proved to be very popular with our attendees. On behalf of the RSNA Board of Directors, it is my honor to extend an invitation to the Japan Radiological Society to create “Japan Presents” for RSNA 2024, December 1-5th in Chicago.
The “Country Presents” session is 60 minutes in length and focuses on new research and education or unique cases from the featured country that would be of interest to a larger audience.

Overall Learning Objectives: 1) Understand the unique evolution and current state of radiology in Japan, even in challenging circumstances, which may serve as a reference for other countries. 2) Share insights into the diverse global landscape of radiology.
Course Description: Japan is in a unique situation, having the highest number of CT and MRI units per capita in the world despite having far fewer radiologists compared to North America. Despite this challenging situation, radiology in Japan has achieved remarkable development. In this session, we will introduce our struggles, efforts, achievements, current status, and future prospects in various fields.
